- Step 1) Identify target community (squad/platoon/company)
- Step 2) Determine date and frequency for video call (e.g. third Sunday of month @ 1100 ET)
- Step 3) Select video teleconferencing tool
- Google Meet free up to 500 attendees for 60 minutes
- Step 4) Determine purpose for call
- e.g. check on buddies and stay connected
- e.g. reconnect and catch up
- Step 5) Schedule call, include purpose and video chat link on calendar invite
- Step 6) Don’t give up. Find, call, and check on all your buddies
- Step 7) Exchange information. Share the purpose and time of call with everyone
- Step 8) Send out a reminder one week and one day before the meeting
- Step 9) Join the meeting and connect with your buddies
